a touch of nordic design: simple shapes, good atmosphere

Voted "the lounge of the year 2011" the Finnair's Lounge in Helsinki Airport's Terminal 2 welcomes the passengers waiting for their flight in a peaceful area of 1000 square meters (about 10,750 square feet), characterized by beautiful nordic-style design elements and neutral tones wall paintings, where you can rest in peace or work and communicate using wi-fi services and i-Mac computers. There are chic workdesks, with beautiful individual lamps  and "Powerkiss" plates, that allow wireless recharging of cell phones simply laying them on the plate. If you wish, you can relax yourself in the spa, designed by spa-guru Paul Haslauer, with its six treatment's rooms, five different saunas and a paddling pool.

A spectacular vertical garden with more than 8,000 tropical plants welcomes guests at the entrance, brings nature inside cleansing the air in a sustainable way.

THE PIER - CATHAY PACIFIC
simple but classy

A lounge of nearly 4,000 square meters welcomes Cathay Pacific's passengers in transit to Hong Kong airport. Really large areas are dedicated to food and dining, with the restaurant The Heaven, the Noodle Bar with its Asian cuisine, the Short Bar for a quick snack or the Long Bar for a selection of spirits and cocktails. Many comfortable chairs and coffee tables create peaceful areas for conversation and relaxation, while those who wish to conduct their business can use the working stations that really look like small offices. There is no spa inside (that's strange!) but passengers can enjoy the shower cabins, or one of the six private suites that offer the typical five-star-hotel rooms.
Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong airport also owns the "old" lounge The Wing, currently through renovation works, and the new lounge The Cabin designed by archi-star sir Norman Foster which will be soon ready to welcome the passengers in a way we expect to be absolutely unforgettable!

Una lounge di quasi 4000 mq accoglie i passeggeri Cathay Pacific in transito a Hong Kong. Davvero ampi gli spazi dedicati alla ristorazione, come il ristorante The Heaven, il Noodle bar che serve specialtà asiatiche, lo Short Bar per uno spuntino veloce o il Long Bar che serve cocktails elaborati e alcolici raffinati. Numerose comode poltrone e tavolini da caffè garantiscono tranquilli spazi per la conversazione ed il relax, mentre chi desidera lavorare può approfittare delle postazioni attrezzate che sembrano dei piccoli uffici. Non è presente una spa, ma a disposizione dei passeggeri vi sono alcune cabine doccia, e sei suite private che offrono i tipici servizi di una camera di albergo di lusso.
La Cathay Pacific possiede anche la "vecchia" lounge The Wing, attualmente interessata da lavori di completo restyling, e la nuova lounge The Cabin disegnata dall'archistar Norman Foster, che verrà inaugurata prossimamente e da cui ci si aspetta davvero molto!

At the scheduled departure time of the new flight, a luxury car will chaffeur the passengers to the aircraft for priority boarding.
During the stay in the lounge, passengers may enjoy a relaxing massage or experience a body treatment in partnership with "Biologique Recherche", be delighted by the selection of food and wines conceived by Alain Ducasse, do shopping skimming through catalogue of duty-free items which will later be collected by the staff, go on with their business activities in the working areas, or just read in peace on the comfortable chaise longues.
