In sicilian dialect the word dammusu simply means "roof", but anyone who has had the chance to stay in one of these typical buildings knows that dammuso is really much more than that.

Inside, these buildings offer fascinating fresh rooms, protected from the hot summer sun, but also great outdoars sheltered from the wind, perfect for moments of deep relaxation.

In dialetto siciliano dammusu significa semplicemente  "tetto", ma chiunque abbia avuto la fortuna di soggiornare in una di queste tipiche costruzioni sa che dammuso significa molto, molto di più.

Al loro interno i dammusi offrono affascinanti spazi chiusi e protetti dal caldo sole estivo, ma anche meravigliosi ambienti esterni riparati dai venti, perfetti per momenti di relax.
